There is no salvation for those who follow the crucified man. For they shall bow and kneel before Satan’s throne and receive his mark on their forehead or on their right hand. And they will be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment will rise up forever and ever. There is no rest day or night for those who worship the beast or his image, or receive his mark on their forehead or on their hand.
Ten reasons why Christ cannot be God:
1. The Bible does not say that Jesus is God
2. The Bible says that Jesus was sent by God as a Savior for our sins (1 Timothy 1:15; 1 John 4:14)
3. The Bible says that Jesus is the Son of God (Luke 1:35)
4. The Bible says that there is only one true God (Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 43:10; 44:6, 8; 45:5-6, 14, 21-22; 46:9; 1 Corinthians 8:4)
5. The Bible says that we are to worship only God (Exodus 20:3; Deuteronomy 5:7; Matthew 4:10)
6. The Bible says that Jesus was tempted in every way, just as we are, yet was without sin (Hebrews 4:15)
7. The Bible says that Jesus was a man (1 Timothy 2:5)
8. The Bible says that Jesus died (Mark 15:37; Luke 23:46)
9. The Bible says that God cannot die (1 Timothy 6:16)
10. The Bible says that if we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised him from the dead, we will be saved (Romans 10:9)
