We can make them question their own understanding of the situation.
We can make them doubt their own judgement.
We can make them think that their fellow citizens don’t understand the situation.
We can make them think that their fellow citizens are stupid.
We can make them think that they are the only ones who really understand the situation.
We can make them think that they are the only ones who are really intelligent.
If we all work together we can make fellow citizens think that they are the only ones who are really awake.
Ten reasons why we would want to make fellow citizens confused:
1. To keep them off-balance so that they can’t make informed decisions.
2. To make them question their own understanding of the situation, and thus doubt their own judgement.
3. To make them think that their fellow citizens don’t understand the situation, and are therefore stupid.
4. To make them think that they are the only ones who really understand the situation, and are therefore more intelligent than others.
5. To make them think that they are the only ones who are really awake, and are therefore more aware than others.
6. To make them think that they need to rely on us for information and guidance.
7. To make them think that we are the only ones who can help them make sense of the situation.
8. To make them think that we are the only ones who have their best interests at heart.
9. To make them think that we are the only ones who can protect them from harm.
10. To make them think that without us, they would be lost and alone in a confusing and dangerous world.
